Status has three plans, all billed annually — there's no monthly option. Annual billing keeps the price per check lower and means one invoice a year instead of twelve. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial.
What differs between plans
Each plan is defined by a set of entitlements — limits and feature flags that apply immediately when you subscribe or change plans:
- Checks — how many checks you can run at once.
- Regions per check — how many distinct probe regions a single check can use.
- Confirmations — the maximum number of regions you can require to agree before an incident opens (see How multi-region confirmation works).
- Check interval — the fastest interval a check can run on.
- Alert channels — how many email and webhook channels you can create, and how many can attach to a single check.
- Status pages — how many public status pages you can run, whether you can use a custom domain, and how many subscribers each page can have.
- API access — whether the public API is available and how many API keys you can create.
- Reports — monthly CSV reports are included on every plan; PDF export is an Enterprise feature.

Upgrading
An upgrade takes effect immediately — the higher plan's limits are available right away, and you're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period.
Downgrading
A downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period, not immediately. Before it applies, you can see exactly what would need to change (for example, "12 checks / 5 allowed") and adjust ahead of time. If you're still over a limit when the downgrade takes effect, nothing is deleted — extra checks are paused (newest first) and extra alert channels are disabled, and you're emailed the list so you can decide what to keep.
Trial expiry
If a trial ends without a subscription, checks are paused and the dashboard switches to a read-only banner. Your configuration is retained for 30 days in case you decide to subscribe.
